Some other fun new restrictions in Michigan:

If you have a 2nd vacation home in Michigan, you can NOT visit that home. Unless you're from out of state, lol.

You are not allowed to use a powered boat on any water.

This will eventually pass.

I know I can't use my cabin in Clair but I thought we could still use our powerboats as long as it was my live in family on board? no one else?

The question becomes, do you spend it now, stimulate a minute section of the economy, or do you invest it and stimulate a greater portion of the economy later?

I was ready to stimulate the economy by flying to Arizona for vacation, that's on hold until the fall. Another stimulating vacation trip is planned for July, this check will cover that or most of my propane bill for next winter which I buy in July.

I get what you are saying. But I am still working full time. Actually got a 3$hr raise while this is going on. Bills are paid. All 5 kids are fed and clothed. I think I deserve to spend a little money on myself.

Me to I haven’t got the 3$ raise but we haven’t stoped delivering concrete or let up one bit since this has started I haven’t spent any of my check but if I do it’s mine to do what I want with my bills are paid!

I own a commercial roofing business. We do have projects booked. But our good Michigan Governor has home quarantined the entire state. We can't buy paint or house furnishings, cars, or even seeds to plant in the garden. I did get some fish delivered this week though, chuckle.

That’s an interesting development going on in Michigan. Better not say more.

The stimulus checks werent given for us to buy corals and reefing supplies. It was given to help us by essential items such as food for our familes, pay bills, etc

We are Not getting one. Which I guess I feel lucky we didn’t need it either. I’m an ICU nurse and still working so I’m lucky there. And my husband is working for FedEx instead of taking unemployment when he got laid off. Thought we’d save the state some money too For unemployment. We feel thankful not to need the money and not be hungry. We ordered extra food from live aquarium a few weeks back enough for six months.
But if we got a check I’d probably donate it to people who do need food that are unemployed now. But I don’t judge anyone that buys reef stuff. We get judged all the time for the money we spend on our three tanks. But each to his own. We all earn our money so we can do what we want wi it right?!
