Do you know if these species are, for whatever reason, more sensitive or don’t do as well in aquariums?
My other stingray in the second photo of this thread has been thriving and eating. But I have had 2 of the leopard round stingray died within 24 hours. Such a beautiful ray but probably the last time I try again.
Parameters are temp: 76F, ammonia and nitrites: 0, nitrates: 8.5 ppm.

What tank size are these good in? I've been wanting to get back into rays in a while and as far as I know marine rays are much smaller and thus need smaller tanks than fresh rays. Urobatis jamaicensis is the one I see the most.

This one is a round stingray (Urobatis halleri). As far as I am concerned, it and the leopard round stingray (Urobatis pardalis) are both fairly easy to care for compared to other rays.
Is this one a Cortez stingray?
