Stirring Kalk?

Quick question, I dose two-part via dosing pump and offset with Kalk. I put a small pump in my Kalk reservoir and have the Apex turn it on five minutes every hour. Should I be doing this? Or just mix it and let it sit? I don't like Kalk in topoff because it becomes too evaporation dependent.

No, a limewater reservoir should be covered and not stirred. Stirring just serves to drive carbon dioxide into it, helping deplete it, and to suspend solids that you might refer to not be dosed.

It can sit for weeks if covered and won't lose noticeable potency. :)
