Honestly, it looks to be quite a bit of tissue necrosis. If you can find some branches/sections that are not showing the tissue loss you could frag them off and glue them to a new plug. Basically, you want to get as much good coral onto a new plug as you are trying to prevent the spread of this death.If you can get a good half inch past the necrosis line, sure. If not, I would try the super glue 'trick' first. You may want to wait for others to chime in.
Get it OUT of the tank ASAP. IT. CAN. SPREAD. (the necrosis). You risk all acros in your tank if you just leave it in there. Trust me, once you see bone, that part of the acro will not be coming back. So very not worth it.Snapped a few frags. So I should totally discard the remaining?
