Do you have pics? A cause of STN is believed to be bacterial. Even with perfect parameters, it can still happen and it’s frustrating. You can have multiple SPS that are thriving and one colony or frag STN. Usually if it keeps getting worse, I will cut the healthy part and glue it and move it to another part of the tank. Sometimes they STN and make a comeback
 
I had the same problem with almost all of my acropora - did a triton test and discovered that I had tin...
Tin is quite common in many ICP tests. Usually it leaches from PVC pipes. I believe Randy Holmes Farley said tin usually isn’t the cause of tank problems.
