Does anyone know the light spread and PAR of the stock Evo 13.5 light and if you think it could grow photosynthetic gorgonians? Thanks!

I haven’t measured mine but it’s growing mushrooms, Kenya tree and Ricordea no problem.

I know when I was researching I found people with up to beginner SPS and anemones with the stock lighting.

Stock light for thr Evo is OK for gorgs. The extra whites work in your favor actually, because heavy blues don't show off gorgs very well. You can probably manage a few sinularia/nepthea and GSP as well. Maybe a yellow or red finger sponge once the tank us running for a while. A pink nepthea would look great.

Those stock lights aren't good for much more than FOWLR.

The boxes mislead the buyer. The pictures on the box are NOT the result of the light that came with it.

I mean I know the box picture isn’t what you’ll get. Not my 1st time doing a reef, just couldn’t remember how good is the evo 13.5 light is

Stupid question. Would using this Venting mount help even out the PAR a bit as it’s higher above the water and will spread the light out a bit?

I think not. Moght help if you're having trouble keeping the temp down. The fluval lights have a pretty wide spread to begin with and small LED chips (I think 0.25watt chips) which have low penetration, so I think raising it will likely just reduce PAR.

So it’s either adding light bars which I have no clue where to start or getting like the sea 3.0 light. I really want to keep the lid because I love the look of it

Are you worried that the light will not support the gorgs/softies? It will. Might not be the very best light, but it'll grow gorgs and softies fine. Some will actually look better in the stock light than a heavy blue light. I've got an Evo and tried 4 different lights on it, including stock and the Marine 3.0 (not worth it). Actually 5 lights of you include the current light I use for it as an observation tank :)
