Stock Ideas for a reefer 425 XL

Hello all,

I've recently started up a reefer 425 XL and waiting to get cycled. I have yet to make my build thread yet but plan on it soon. However I have an idea of a few fish I want to keep but would like some input. Also what type of CUC would a tank this size need? I like shrimp and crabs, I also have a 40 gallon freshwater full of shrimps and they're fun to watch.

My list so far of live stock I would like
2 Clown's not sure on type but that's a when I see it I'll know kinda deal.
a watchmen goby and pistol shrimp.
a mandarin (down the road when I can sustain him)
I would like a flame hawkfish, but not sure if it'll be ok with a CUC.
An emperor angelfish the one that looks like a black and white finger print.

After that any ideas on cool fish to keep. I know my tank is still a bit to small for tangs.

Cerith snails to clean all the nooks and crannies.

I avoid hermit crabs. They kill ^^^ every chance they get.

Very cool to have a Red Banded Coral Shrimp. I like'm a lot

Flame hawks are great, and worth the risk with small shrimp.

Too small for an emperor angel. The one you describe is a juvenile. Adults get a foot plus. Lots of dwarf angels to choose from.

There are several tangs that would work. I would pick one. Yellow, purple, scopas, kole, tomini, white tail, truncated.

Royal Gramma
Fire Goby
and a coral beauty angel fish

CUC that includes emerald crabs and a red banded shrimp

Is this a good list? I'm afraid that it is to many fish. This also more of a place to write it down so I can look at it later.

Several fish on your list do much better in a mature tank. They like to graze on the algae in the tank: coral beauty, lawnmower, Tomini, and as you mentioned the mandarin.
