I’ve overstocked tanks and I hated it. Fighting nitrates constantly sucked. So in my 120g TWV AIO I went the opposite. I had:

Powder Blue Tang
Foxface Lo
Sleeper Goby
Damsel
Juvenile Butterfly Fish

Everyone was happy and maintenance was easy.

I am now moving to a DT of 81x24x25. Now that I have a sump and a TWV closer to 330 gallons, I’d like more fish. I can now use a satellite refugium (50 gallons) and a giant skimmer if I choose so I think I am in a better place. Sadly I lost some fish recently due to a leak which is why they’re not on this list (why I upgraded).

What I would like:
My Powder blue tang
My Foxface Lo
My Butterfly fish
A pair of wrasses
A Dwarf lion fish (is this going to be a problem?)
An angelfish (coral beauty or flame)
A pair of clowns
1-2 helfrichi firefish
Another tang
2 filefish
3 anthias
A Bella goby
A pistol shrimp/goby pair
…and maybe an eel down the road

I’m fine with the tang police or any “police” chiming in on mistakes.

Anything that can fit in the mouth of the lionfish is potentially a problem, so just be aware of that. They also have a fairly high bio load.

I have 48 fish in my tank (160 gallons). Overstocked, but it's amazing to watch.

You wouldn’t be able to have a ‘pair’ of wrasses as all Reefsafe wrasses eventually become male in captivity unless they’re in these genera;
Macropharyngodon
Anampses
Pseudojuloides

As for the Lionfish, these guys will eat half the fish on your list. The same risks occur with the Eel if you’re thinking of something like a Snowflake.

I have had great success with growing coral- especially acropora in the tank but I’m definitely missing the “movement” and “life” that come with a healthy fish population .

Thank you. I’m wrasse-ignorant.

I thought lionfish ate only what would fit in their mouth? A dwarf lionfish (6”) would eat firefish?

Do I need to worry about clownfish and predators? What’s the anemone even doing for them at that point!?

The eel is something I’ve always wanted. It seems like some are well behaved and others are not.

Their mouths extend wider than you’d think, a firefish/any goby is a quick snack for most predators, the same occurs with most wrasses.
