So I just purchased a Aqueon 29 gallon tank, it is just the tank and it doesn't have a hood or cover anything just the tank. So I wanted to know everything else I need, in order from the most essential to the least essential.

I've just started out in this hobby as well, so we're on the same boat. Here's what I got, not in order. Sorry
Live rock
Dry rock
Circulation pump (I got 2)
Heater
Light
Thermometer
Dry sand (make sure you rinse it REALLY well)
Top/splash guard
Net (I already have one)
Salt
RO/DI water (confession time: I didn't use RODI water, but you should!)
Background
That's it. You might probably want more stuff for your tank, but that's all I got personally.

Oh, and I also got a hydrometer (but its recommended that you use a refractometer for more accurate measurement)
