x1 Red Firefish
x1 Yellow Coris Wrasse
x2 Ocellaris Clownfish
x1 shrimp and goby pair
x1 blenny of some kind (Bicolor, Tailspot, Starry etc. was about to say Midas but read they can be a bit risky with Firefish)
x1 basslet or assessor (Royal Gramma, Swissguard, Black Cap, Swales Basslets, Yellow / McNeill’s / Randall’s Assessor)
x1 dwarf angel of some kind (Coral Beauty, Flame, Flameback, Cherub, etc.)
x1 tang (6’ opens you up to Zebrasoma Tangs)
x2 Spot Breast / Watanabei’s / Bellus Angelfish
If you don’t want any larger fish, you could do a couple of Fairy and Flasher Wrasses. If you don’t mind the threat of having your shrimp being eaten, a Flame or Longnose Hawk could work well. In a 6’ a Goby or blenny could get away from the Hawk. If you intend to have the Hawkfish as your only bottom dwelling fish, I’d put those extra inches into another larger fish. In that case:
x2 Ocellaris Clownfish
x1 Yellow Coris Wrasse
x1 Flame / Long Nose Hawkfish
x1 basslet or Assessor
x1 Coral Beauty / Flame / Pygmy angel
x1 Yellow / Purple / Black Longnose / Tomini / Yellow Eye Kole Tang
x2 Spot Breast / Watanabei’s / Bellus Angelfish
x1 Yellow Pyramid Butterfly (maybe)
