i currently have a small 29 gallon saltwater tank, but I just bought a 150 gallon today! I have quiet a bit of time before I get to start adding fish, but I was trying to get a list together while I am waiting for it to cycle. I will have soft and LPS coral, so I would need reef compatible fish. I really would like a purple tang, coral beauty, flame angel (if possible with coral beauty), and after that I am not sure. Are any eels reef compatible or possible? Any suggestions would be appreciated! I definately could use some direction with this!

I'm partial to wrasses.. flasher and fairies would do nicely. All about reef safe wrasses link.. https://www.reef2reef.com/index.php?threads/259894/

Don't know anything about eels..

Flame and coral beauty angels can be housed together, but I would recommend adding them simultaneously. However, both may nip corals.

Golden dwarf eel is very reef safe.

Fairy and flasher wrasses, dartfish, anthias, tilefish, flame hawks are possibilities.

I'd also suggest keeping your 29g and repurposing it as a quarantine tank, and put any new fish through a quarantine protocol as you stock the new tank.

Yep...that is what I was thinking of doing with it...I haven't had a quarantine tank in the past, but I think it is a smart ideal!
