Hi all, I am setting up my first reef tank in the near future it's a red sea max 250 (I have a 180 and a 225 FOWLR predator tank already) and was hoping to get some feedback on a good stocking list, fish and corals. I want to get an anenome and a starfish at some point but I will wait until my tank is well established. Thanks in advance!

If you are just starting with reef fish I’d be sure to go with mainly easy fish that are a %100 reef safe. Then once you get Those fish in you can let them establish and start adding slightly more aggressive and risky fish. Also if doing a reef with nems be sure to cover overflow and power heads with sponge so the men dose not get shredded to pieces.

Is it a 4 foot long 60 gallon? If so, there are plenty of options for wrasses that will work (ie fairy, flasher, peaceful Halichoeres). You can also generally mix a couple of different variety wrasses in there. Halichoeres Wrases are safe with corals but will periodically pick of snails, hermits and small shrimp. The others will leave inverts alone.

It is 38" (3 foot 2 inches) long
