This is my first saltwater tank, after about 25 years of fresh water. My tank has been fully cycled for a few weeks now and I am almost ready to start stocking it. Eventually I will take the step to reef keeping but I want to get the hang of salt first. When I do make that jump it will be in a new tank. Anyway, getting back to the point, I'm trying to figure out what exactly I will stock my tank with. I've done a lot of research and looked at the compatibility chart but I would still like some opinions from folks with real experience. The following fish are what I am thinking of getting:
Flame Angelfish
Firefish
Royal Gramma
Ocellaris Clown Fish
Flasher Wrasse (not sure which one)
Some type of Goby or Blenny
Peppermint Shrimp
So... what mistakes am I making? I know the Angel might go after the shrimp and I'm willing to take that risk. The Angel will also be the last fish introduced to the tank. Additionally, I am hoping to get a pair of Firefish since they look better. Of course that's provided the LFS has a pair that appears to have paired off. I am also hoping to get 3 flasher wrasses, 1 male and 2 females.
Aside from overall opinions, I'm also looking for suggestions on the type of Flasher Wrasse and type of Goby or Blenny, or even one of each.
Thanks for your time and hopefully your suggestions.

as for blennys Midas blennys are really cool and so are lawnmower blennys. The lawnmower blennys don't look like much, but they will eat a lot of hair algae, have a great personality and are entertaining to watch.
