Hi there! Later this year, I will be starting a 10-gallon nano reef tank. After researching my options, I've come to this stocking list.

- Yellow Clown Goby
- Tailspot Blenny
- Scarlet Skunk Cleaner Shrimp
- Two Porcelain Crabs
- Two Trochus Snails & Two Nassarius Snails
- TBD coral stock (they'll be added down the road)

Thoughts on this list?

IMO a 10 gallon is too small for a blenny

Will this be a standard 10 gallon tank or an AIO?

I am planning to use a standard 10 gallon tank.

In that case I think your stocking list is fine. The tailspot is such a small blenny it should be fine in a 10 gallon. You may want to reconsider the clown goby if you ever want to keep any sps. I also think you would be fine to add another smaller fish as well.

Thank you! I may add a third fish down the line. I would likely choose a shrimp goby. Do they do better with the presence of a pistol shrimp?

I wouldn’t say they do any better, but it is a really cool symbiotic relationship and I highly recommend getting a pistol shrimp for one. Just make sure to get the right kind, some get too big and are known to cause issues.

I'll do research into different species. Thank you!
