Hey R2R! I'll get straight to it...

I'm wondering if there are any compatibility issues with the following stocking list:

IN DT
- 3 PJ cardinals
- 2 Percula clowns
- Exquisite firefish
- Red firefish
- Watchman goby
- Fiji Foxface
- Lyretail anthias (single female)

IN QT (DONE 6/30)
- Flame angel
- Blue hippo tang
- Orange back fairy wrasse
- Orchid dottyback
- Royal Gramma
- Mandarin goby

Initially, there was some aggression with the Lyretail toward the two dartfish but it seems to have passed as they've become acquainted. The fish in QT are done on 6/30 and I plan to add them to the DT then. I have a few different tanks, so if anything here doesn't really "fit" I have options for placing the fish elsewhere.

Thank you in advance for the help!

I see problems developing in time with the dottyback and gramma and/or the firefish. Good to see you're ready to rehome someone if needed. This link you might find helpful identifying when you might need to consider rehoming:

DT is roughly 110g (custom)...I didn't even think about it, but yes the two would be an issue. I think I'll keep the gramma in the DT and the Orchid in one of my other tanks. They are currently all QTs for my DT, but once the DT is stocked I need to repurpose them and thinking of a frag tank + some species-specific tanks.

as mentioned in the above post from mine that the firefish might be an issue with the dottyback as well. was a good catch!

The Gramma and Fire Fish may fight it out (Especially with the exquisite). Also the Dottyback may fight with the Gramma as well as the Fire Fish. This would be due to similar colours and essentially the same body shape.

I don’t want to be that person however the Blue Hippo will outgrow that tank within a year possibly 7-8 months if fed properly. There may be issues between him and the foxface as they’re relative but not extremely close.
The Flame Angel may also fight with the other Rock Dwellers such as the YWG, Fire Fish, and potentially the Gramma and Dottyback unless the Gramma and DB manage to kill the *** first.

There could be an issue between the OB Fairy Wrasse and Anthias however I doubt it. I’d just remain cautious with it. Also if you want to add more fairy wrasses later it would be quite difficult with this guy in there first.

Warning: They may all get along now in QT but with enough territory in the main DT they will most likely go back to fighting it out. In smaller tanks they essentially group together and hide with eachother as it’s a survival instinct and they’re stressed.

With enough rock work the dottyback and gramma should be fine - it really depends on the individual fish. I have a dottyback that lives in caves and a royal gramma that swims out in the open, and the could care less about each other.
