Stocking for a 20 Long

5 fish (IMO) is to many in a 20L. You have already alluded to limited maintenance. Where with that many fish as they grow they will produce more of a waste that has to be removed.
Will you have a sump/skimmer? Sump would add more volume in turn could allow for the heavier load. If you add rock and coral depending on the amount, your eliminating water volume (the more water volume the higher load it can handle). Skimmer is IMO the best resource to remove the organics that begin to load up. Bottom line is how much maintenance are you willing to do? And what is your export plan?
Blow off rock ,Water change w/ detritus out, and heavy skimming is a must in my book .
Think about what your volume is after you put everything in that you want. It not 20 gal. Then think about growth in the future. You want to be successful so set your self up for it.

Thank you!!
There will be a 10 gallon sump on the tank with a skimmer. I will also have cheato algae to help eliminate ph and nitrates. I will blow off the rocks during water changes. I think I can do about a 5 gallon water change every two weeks. I think that I would feel comfortable with 4 fish MAX, depending on aggression and how my tank is handling the bio load. I will be doing a medium amount of rock probably and I will be keeping mostly softies and some LPS. I am going to try to get the corals as big as I can so that will take up a lot of water volume. I am also going to put crushed coral so that will also take up some space.

I still think it will only be able to handle 3 to 4 fish MAX but I love all of them on my list and I am having a hard time cutting any of them :p
What is your personal opinion on which one(s) I should cut?

I personally don't know that much about the fish you choose. With the exception of the clown and gramma. I ve spent more time on corals.
I would make myself firmiliar with what ever fish you decide prior to acquiring them, habitat, feeding, temperament. Good luck

I know a lot about all of them but I will do some more research. You can never learn too much. :p Thank you!!

Anyone else?

Anyone one have an aponion on weather a hydro nano is big enough for a 20 long or not? I will be keeping softies and lps.

I think you're focusing too much on the specific number of fish. The bioload of one clownfish will be about equal to the other four fish combined. So if you would be comfortable with being able to maintain a pr of clowns in a 20L, than being able to keep those five, a clown, clown goby, firefish, tanaka's wrasse, and shrimp goby pr, especially if the shrimp goby is a smaller species, such as yasha.

I would skip the clown, not only do they get too big for a 20, they're jerks. Lol..

Stick with feeding powdered foods and you'll keep the pod population abundant enough to feed everything.

Tanaka pygmy's are awesome too, pretty shy at first but they come out eventually. Big believer in sexy shrimp for nanos myself, they help with grooming of corals.

In a 20L you need more than a hydro nano. I have one to two in a 6g. Usually 1 and still would like more flow. I would get a larger powerhead.
That is what I though but I thought I would ask anyways. Thanks

I have been thinking about skipping the clown but I just feel like it is necessary in a school tank. Everyone would love it!! I know if I did cut the clown I would easily be able to keep the other 4 fish. I will keep thinking about it.

I defiantly want to get a tankakas Pygmy angle!! I LOVE my sexy shrimp too!!

Your aren't going to want to add the fish all at once anyway. You could leave the clown until last and see how the tank is doing.

If I do get a clown I would defienalty add it last considering it is the most aggressive fish on my list by a land slide.
