Hi all,

I’m in early stages of stocking a tank and wanted feedback on plans for a 75 gallon FOWLR with approx 10 gallon refugium in sump:

2 Clowns
2 Mandarins (male + female, planned Biota, culturing lots of pods also)
Flame Angel or (and?) Coral Beauty
Gobies (can I add multiple striped, starry and/or bar gobies? Different species? I can’t choose…)
Blenny (suggestions? Prefer bright/colorful)
Anthias (Sunset x3)
Banggai x2

Cleaner shrimp
Snails+Hermits
Starfish (unsure of type, want something that plays nice with rest of inhabitants, preferably colorful)

Is this realistic? If not preferred order of elimination of fish is from bottom of list up.

Goals are color, movement and interesting shapes in a hopefully peaceful tank.

Are gobies aggressive to each other? Seeing them at the store they seem chill… but the store is also not their home with established territories… just like the variety and different looks.

If you’re looking for a goby that will work as a utility fish, I’ve had good luck with bullet gobies. Mine turns my sand bed over like crazy. They aren’t bright but have blue/silver hues with a little reddish in there. He is primarily dark grey though. Scooter blennies are really cute, but need pods to survive, I’d get good pod life established before adding. If you are willing to sacrifice color, lawnmowers are great for algae and ours has a fun personality. He perches all over the tank and tries to eat algae off the glass it’s fun to watch. Just some ideas! GL!
