Considering 65 gallon tanks are not too long; and not too wide yet tall.. what would be some good fish for me?
I currently have a Midas Blenny, 2 clownfish. 1 blue chromis, a yellow watchman and shrimp combo and give or take a few hermit crabs and snails. My tank seems really empty but yet I really wouldn't like to overcrowd. Water changes and maintenance is not a problem and I would not be adding any fish for a while anyways, just trying to make some right decisions for the long run. I prefer different invertebrates and cool fish rather than the typical standard chain fish. I would love an eel however am unsure how it would go in the long run, considering some fish aren't too large. My tank has a lot of rock work and I am thinking about making some more caves so hiding shouldn't be a problem. I like fish with personality, like my Midas blenny, Blenard, will come up to the side of the tank every time I come into my room and he's great. My clown fish basically just float around and I will probably get them some sort of anemone at some point.

I too am researching stock for my 66 gal rsm c250. I have 2 clowns and want to plan my stocking list so am interested as well in what others come up with. Thinking about the ywg and shrimp but don't want sand all over. Do they make a mess?

If I could back, I would probably have not re-add them.. ultimately yes they basically never stop moving despite having a nice home under all my rock work.. I am constantly annoyed to see a sand storm in the tank and although sometimes it's worst than others, tend to clean my frag rack off twice a week from sand and whatnot.

Some options would include a group of zebra or scissortail dartfish, purple tilefish, flame and/or longnose hawkfish, royal gramma.

Also looking for stocking suggestions. I have a RSM C250 (66 gal). I’ll be adding either a 5 or 10 gal refugium (so I can add dragonettes later) Currently I have 2 clowns and 9 various snails (3 cerith, 2 turbans, 4 nassarius) , which I’ll add to as my tank requires. Here is my stocking wish list, in order. I plan to add slowly over the next year. I’m aiming for fish that get no larger than 4 inches and starting out with inexpensive and peaceful. Will also add a few shrimp to the DT

Kole Tang—waffling back and forth. I know it’ll get too big eventually and worry about ich
3 pajama cardinals or 2 banggai
3 blue/green chromis or 3 blue

1 panda goby or another sand goby or (depending on if I can keep the two) 1 blennie bi-color, barnacle, or atlantic sailfin but will they nip corals? Will go gobies if so

1 fire fish or 1 purple fire fish goby unless I can get a mated pair
1 royal gamma basslet
1 Bartlett’s Anthias

I like the damsels but hear they are pains. Way down the road after I have pod population
3-5 Wrasses: mccoskers, clown fairy, yellowfin. Have to see compatibility
Ruby dragonet and red mandarin
Also love the flame, coral beauty and multicolor angel fish. Will they nip corals if kept well fed?
