Hey there! Looking for stocking ideas for my 112g tank (36”x36”x24”) upgrade.

The tank will be mostly acropora and a few lps.

Would love to put some fish with a variety of body shapes, behavior and color in there. And some fish that are less commonly seen.

What do you think?

I had considered a single Pyramid Butterfly or a single Japanese Swallowtail Angelfish as my one larger centerpiece fish, but with only a 3 foot x 3 foot footprint, I’m not sure if that would give the fish enough swimming room?

I have the WB 180.5 but will share with you my stocking list.

180 is the total capacity of the system including the sump. Display is 130 gallons. The .5 = 5 feet long. It's not the same as yours obviously, but I think you could have the same list as you have depth that I don't have.

I have an attached frag tank (total water volume 240 gallons).

I have the following fish: Nitrates 20, Phosphates .02 as of last weekend.

7x chromis (peaceful)
7x pajama cardinal (peaceful)
1x huge clarkii clown (old lady, mad)
1x zombie clown (peaceful)
1x ocellaris clown (peaceful)
1x black clown (peaceful; in frag tank)
1x 6" sailfin tang (excitable but peaceful)
1x black speckled molly (belligerent)
1x dwarf pygmy angel (belligerent)
1x starry blenny (belligerent and MIA)

Point: Your tank will be fine for the Angelfish.
