yesterday I introduced my 2 high fin red banded gobys and pistol shrimp into my display freeing up quarantine for a new fish.

I’m not sure what to get yet. I currently have
2 high fins
1 occelaris
1 Molly Miller blenny

It’s a 34 gallon and I’m trying to stick with relatively small fish so I can keep my bioload smaller.

I’ve been thinking maybe a hawk fish or a chalk bass, but I’d love to hear some other suggestions

I'd avoid the hawkfish with hi fin gobies as they are tiny. I agree that a Royal Gramma Basslet or a Possum/Pink Streaked Wrasse would be good choices.

I like the possum wrasse idea, they seem to be a bit pricier than I’m looking to spend. I’m still at the point where I’m nervous about buying expensive fish

A flame or a longnose hawk will be fine with the hi-fin goby.

Other possibilities include: royal gramma and possum wrasse as stated, but also yellow assessor, swales basslet, or pink streak wrasse.
