So I plan to add some new fish to my tank in the near future. I will be running a life reef skimmer and a reef octopus classic 100. I will also have a bio pellet reactor algae scrubber and a hob filter with phos guard chemi pure and purigen and a large sponge. Tank is 104 gallons 4ft long with abou 90lbs of live rock. I do 10 percent water changes
Weekly. Will this work and be ok with my filtration and tank size?

Now for the list
1. Foxface rabbitfish have already
2. Pair of clowns already have
3. pair of pj Cardinals already have
4. Trio of chromis already have

plan to add the following
1. Purple tang
2. Lawnmower blenny
3. Flame Hawkfish or longnose or cherub angel(any suggestions on which?)
4. Harlequin tusk or blue head wrasse and hovens wrasse(open to suggestions to either one)

Thanks in advance.

A harlequin tusk will outgrow that tank. And a purple tang is borderline too big.

A cherub angel may nip at corals.

So I guess I will skip on harlequin tusk and do blue head wrasse and hovens. I really wanted a purple tang so I might try it and if I need to trade him in in the future. I also will stick with the long nose Hawkfish don’t want to risk it with angel. Thanks for help I was trying to find this topic for awhile now. Thanks again

Let the hoevans wrasse get settled for about 6 months before adding the blue head. Blue heads can be aggressive toward other wrasses, but a large hoevans can take care of itself.

Ok thanks I will give the hovens wrasse some time before adding the other thanks I will also try to get a larger one

Ok so I revised the list a little instead of the blue head I plan on adding a leopard wrasse. I know they can be very challenging but have a plan to acclimating it and giving it a stress free qt and environment. I also think I might try a long nose with a cherub angel. Thanks

In that case, put the leopard in before the hoevan's, as leopards are more peaceful.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking thanks for all the help really appreciate it. During the qt period with leopards I have read they you always do a round of prazi is this true? Even if fish looks good

Sorry for all the questions and your help with this is very much appreciated but will prazi pro treat internal parasites and deworm the fish? Thanks a lot.

Yes, prazi will deworm, though some internal parasites are resistant. I recommend dosing two separate times.

Another good treatment for internal parasites is Seachem's Metroplex bound to food with Seachem's "Focus" product. One tablespoon food, one Seachem measure each of Metroplex and Focus, mix thoroughly. Feed 1-2x daily for 10 days or so. Any leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator.

Treats internal parasites where they live.

Yeah I have heard of metro plex before I do like seachem if prazi cannot get rid of the parasites then I will try metro plex. Thanks for the suggestions
