HI, I pre-order IM 15g cube... hopefully get it at end of october

I want to know what stocking options I can do for the tank I have?

I definitely don't want the watchman goby and pistol shrimp pairing because they pretty much going to be hiding most of the time lol

I want something that are affordable, beautiful/best looking, active/swimming around out and about.

I know some people going to suggest clowns... but I want to see options with clowns and non-clowns stocking ideas

list as many different stocking scenarios you think of

In a tank that size, three nano fish is reasonable. Most combinations I can think of off the top of my head would be fine. Examples of nano fish are things like clowns, yellowtail blue damsels, royal grammas, barnacle blennies, some cardinalfish. Or you could do two nano and two pico fish- pico fish being clown gobies, trimma gobies, and so on.

Most fish suitable for that size tank should get along. Just be careful not to pair up really aggressive fish with really timid ones, and you should be fine.

In my nano i have a Tailspot Blenny, possum wrasse and a cleaner shrimp.

I may add a clown goby eventually.

There is a pistol shrimp in there to but like you said i never see him and want to get him out (I didn’t add him).

And yes clown’s suck. One of my 2 clowns in my 90 is a jerk.

I like the clown goby

Lol what do u mean ..."you didn't add him"... some random pistol shrimp decided to break in your place and hang in your tank? Lol

Or you got a significant other being nosy in your tank and want the pistol shrimp? Lol

Came with the rock I bought from a guy. The clicking is very annoying.

If you get a clown goby, go captive-bred. Wild-caught ones often come in underweight and tend to adjust poorly, if at all. They are wonderful little fish, though, can't recommend them enough if you can get one captive-bred.

Yeah for sure captive bred ... want everything captive bred as possible

i was thinking of two stocking situation

#1
yellow clown goby
Royal gramma
neon dottyback
firefish

#2
a pair of gladiator

what do you think? ...any better replacement? or another stocking list idea but got to be affordable fishes

A royal gramma and a neon dottyback look similar enough to each other that I think they would fight. Probably best to pick one or the other. Barring that mismatch, any combination of 3 of the fish you've listed (or possibly 4, if one is the clown goby) would work fine.

Waaaay too expensive lol

Yasha haze or antenna shrimpgoby? Cute lil dudes, pairs up with a candycane pistol shrimp for an amazing symbiotic relationship to watch, shouldn't have any problems with anything.

Alternately, I'm fond of yellowtail blue damsels. They aren't too aggressive, once they claim their cave, and they have that wonderfully vivid blue.

Don't care for pistol shrimp/goby pairing because they pretty much chill in hole cave most of the time and don't see them often

I was checking out the blue damsels but I thought my tank too small for it
