Stocking list...thoughts ?

Ok, so I am pretty sure I have a stocking list for this 29g tall, and I'm open to suggestions and/or opinions, as well as what should be added first - last. Will be one of each, but all added separately.
Tail spot blenny
Clown Goby
Goby/shrimp pair
Sapphire damsel
Chromis
Firefish
1 (maybe 2) clowns

I want a couple shrimp (at least one red one with long white antennae, can't remember the name) and some other shrimp, but I have to do some research on them first. A Halloween hermit crab is a must too.

Also, I will be adding(eventually) a torch, frogspawn, and hammer on each shelf, some zoa's throughout, a few RFA's and probably acans on the sandbed.

Those are the immediate plans anyway... Any thoughts ?

Stick with one goby, a 29 gallon isn’t big enough for them each to have a territory.
Damsels are mean and will run the tank, clowns are in the damsel family and are generally less aggressive to other fish but will fight amongst themselves. If you get two try to get a pair. Everything else seems fine.

I have done a lot of reading on the damsels, and even had a few yellow tail damsels a while back. I understand that each fish is different, but from everything I have read so far, the sapphire damsel has the most...'peaceful' temperament of them. I am just hoping that the one I get will be like the other one that I had in the past and the clown(s) will help keep it in check. If not, I will re-home it.

Not all damsels are mean. Maroon clowns are amongst the meanest I've ever kept so I disagree with clowns being less aggressive.

The clown(s) that I am wanting to get are some kind of 'designer' kind. Whether Picasso's, black ice, snowflakes, etc.
I figure that either the clowns or the sapphire damsel should go in last.
I guess my toughest decision will be which Goby to go with...

I'd ditch the chromis. We have one in the 75 and it's pretty large and bossy. A 29 high is going to be limited in space so maybe one designer clown, not a maroon, and the sapphire damsel.

+1 on ditching the chromis. Seems to be a rise in the amounts of Uronema lately, and it seems to be spreading into other species. Too big of a chance of one being a carrier of the disease. Yikes!
