Uh weird. My male is about 4 inches and he has grown since I got him. The females are smaller!

I will look into chromis and anthias.

If you want some "interesting" chromis - try some black/yellow lyretail chromis. They behave completely different and will actually inhabit rock caves (I have 3 that live in barnacles).

Ive got one of those dudes! I had 3 but two killed on in the shipping bad and then the one I have no killed the other so he just chills by himself

If you add any more they'll divvy up the tank and stake out individual territories.

Yeah thats why Im happy with my 3 greens! The gold and black guy seems to not care about any other fish
