So I have been looking for more fish to add to my 57 gallon deep blue tank as of right now I have 2 clowns, a little sailfin tang once bigger will be moved, melanurus wrasse and 2 purple firefish. Is it a good idea to have the Midas blenny with the firefish people have said that the blenny May go after them.

Also will the Midas blenny eat some algae have some the the sailfin doesn’t eat and the snail just leave it alone?

Thanks any input would get great!

The Midas Blenny will not attack the purple firefish, and the Midas Blenny I think it will not eat algae, but there is two invertebrates that are algae eating machines: Banded Trochus snail (every tank with algae and more that 10 gallons) and Blue Tuxedo urchin (50 gallons), but be careful, the BTU can grab stones and corals and walk with them (because the BTU loves grabbing rocks and empy shells to cover from strong light) and eat coralline algae.

Sorry if Im wrong in something, im not a pro on seawater tanks.
