Here is a list of fish that I'm interested in for my 75g aquarium. With my sump I run 105g.

Disclaimer: This list is subject to change!!! :)

2 Purple Firefish (already acquired)
Goby W/Pistol Shrimp (I had a bonded pair and loved watching them)
McCosker's Flasher Wrasse
Scissortail Dartfish (compatibility issues with firefish?)
One Spot Foxface Rabbitfish
Whitespotted Pygmy Filefish, Captive-Bred ORA (I think this is a very unique looking fish) or Banggai Cardinal fish trio (my husband likes these)
Pair of Clowns
Coral Beauty Angelfish
Yellow tail Damsel (I want something bright blue in my tank, this is one of the less aggressive Damsel's, but I can live without it if it will cause to much discord in my tank)

I have a question on the Wrasse, in my tank would it be okay to have more than one Flasher? I've seen, no you shouldn't to yes it should be okay! If you can't tell I would really like the answer to be, yes it should be okay! ;)

I'm completely open to any suggestions & advice! Thanks in advance!!!

The list looks fine for the most part.

Scissortail dartfish are great tankmates with firefish.

Don't do a trio of bangaiis. Two will pr up and kill the third.

Multiple flasher wrasses will be fine in a 75, just get more than two. And try and go with different species. Either add them simultaneously or utilize a social acclimation box for introducing new wrasses to established ones.

A single yellow tail will defend a territory, but not be too bad. Azure, arnazae, and starki damsels are all blue and slightly more peaceful than yellow tails.

If you are planning on keeping corals or clams coral beauty angels may nip.

I've been trying to carefully research everything and come up with a good mix!

The Dartfish might be replaced by a Jawfish, just haven't decided yet!

Two it will be then!

When you say different species, do you mean the difference between say, McCosker's & Carpenter?

I will look those up! It will be the last fish added to the tank!

I don't think I will be starting any corals for at least a year, but, don't quote me on that, just like this list it is subject to change!

Thank you for taking the time to look at my list and share your knowledge!

I'm trying to decide which fish to next place in my tank. I was going to get a goby & shrimp pair, but I think I've decided to get two Wrasse next. McCoskers and I still haven't decided what the second one will be.

I do have a question about the goby & shrimp. If I get a pair that are already bonded, how do I quarantine? The goby will need Prazi and treatment for ich. If I separate the two during this time, is there a possibility of them losing their bond?

Thanks!

They will rebond if seperated.

Tank transfer method could work for ich. Prazi won't affect the pistol shrimp.

Thank you for your quick response. I think I will probably do the ttm first, then place the goby into my QT with the shrimp and do the Prazi.

So, I have decided on my next two fish...A Hoeven's & a McCosker's wrasse. I hope to order them within the next two weeks! My firefish will be finished with QT and in the DT!
