Hello this is only my second post here so bare with me haha
My 90 gallon aquarium is currently going through 72 days fallow treatment so I thought maybe I should think of a stock list for it in the mean time to give me something to do
I will be adding these SLOW so don't worry (I've had tank 6 months and have 3 fish)

Current fish
Occ clown
Orchid dotty back (fridmani)
One spot foxface
Wants to add in future

A goby or blenny
A flame angel
And maybe a yellow tang last?

Now since that's only 6 fish and only 2 get big ish here's some fish I'm considering (I'd love to hear what fish yall would add as well )
Invert safe wrasse
3 lyretail anthias
Blue green chromis 3-4
Please leave your advice and suggestions below :)

Oh and I need to clarify the wrasse is a likely addition but the lyretails or chromis are just ideas and I would only be adding one of them either anthias or chromis I'm only wanting maybe 10 fish in the tank max if they are small .

If you are considering other fish I would wait until you decide and get them before the Angel. Besides that though I think it looks like a good list, very similar to my 90 gallon list :).

List looks fine to me. Wrasse suggestions would be many from the fairy or flasher wrasse group--- but when you say invert safe, is it snails and crabs you worry about?

I've always loved halichoeres wrasse (Melanarus, yellow "coris", Vroliks) but they can slowly make a dent in your snail/hermit populations as time passes and they grow... I've always considered it a worthwhile investment to buy more CUC annually!

Your stocking list looks good to me also. I would suggest a different tang then a Yellow Tang. I would look into a Tomini Tang or a Two Spot Bristletooth Tang, the reason why I suggest this is to give the tank more color variety in terms of fish. You already have a Foxface so maybe look into another type of smaller tang that has different coloration?

I personally love my trio of Lyretail Anthias (Squampinnis) they have proven to be rather hardy and peaceful to my other tank inhabitants, however they do tend to squabble amongst themselves. Make sure you read up on their dietary needs. Often times they dont tend to fare to well in tanks if not fed 2-3x daily. I accomplish this with NLS pellets in an autofeeder that dispenses pellets 2x daily and then I feed frozen in the evening.

My last suggestion would be to look into some type of Fairy or Flasher Wrasse. For me, I always feel that my tank is incomplete without some sort of Wrasse......or 3. They are wonderful fish that come in all sorts of different colorations and are usally very well behaved depending on which Wrasse your talking about. You can check out Live Aquaria's website to get an idea on what Wrasses are available to you.

Thank you all for the responses !
That's good to know killer I will probably add my angel second to last with my tang being last
3ford I know I absolutely love the Melanerus wrasse but unfortunately I've gotten very attached to my shrimp

Didn't finish that last one when it sent I'm very attached to shrimp so can't risk it :(
Thanks for all the info Kyle I will definitely look at all my tang options and that's good to know about the anthias I would really like to try those soon .
Last question but does anyone think my foxface and the tang I want will be a problem ? I've read they might be a problem in a 90 but my fox is mellow and not that big

A foxface can handle itself against a tang, it has venomous dorsal spines for defense, and he won't go after a tang.

I have a fox face and a yellow tang in a 75, they are best buds they almost always swim together and are happy to share some nori in the veggie clip

Thanks eat that makes me feel a lot better I was worried about tang bullying him and that would be awesome if mine would do that!
