Super excited!! Just got my Innovative Marine tank!!! What should I stock it with.... I defiantly want some tangs.. but what do you all think?? It will be a reef tank with Kessil lights as well.

Tangs? Maybe 1 or 2 really, really small ones. A dwarf angel might be a better choice.

What a bout a juvenile yellow tang? And a juvenile Hippo for a year or 2?

Hippo? No. Maybe a small juvenile yellow tank.

I had a yellow tang in a 4 ft 90 gallon for many years.. So your 4 ft 80 gallon should be fine for a yellow.

I now have a 6ft 180 gallon and I think it’s too small for my hippo. I regret getting her. So no way I’d do a hippo in a 4 ft. They are really cute when they are tiny but grow really fast and you wont want to get rid of her.

When you say really fast... If I got the smallest baby hippo.. and I of course have a 4 foot tank, with healthy feeding.. how long will the hippo be happy before I have to find a forever home for it..
