Are you starting fresh or adding the nanocube contents to the new tank? Are you looking to do corals or just fish? I like a lot of rock in my tank, I think it lets the fish feel a little more secure if they have plenty of hiding spaces. Thats a great size tank.

Gold stripe maroon clown, purple tang, anthias, or if you're going the FOWLR route or crabless CUC get a harlequin tusk, they are beautiful!!

I have a 225g stocked with Emperor Angel, Annularis Angel, 6 Tangs(Purple, Yellow,3 Regal, DesJardini), 4 clowns, several wrasses(Blue Head, Melanurus, Twin Spot, Red Coris), 2 Hawkfish(1 Flame, 1 LongNose), 1 Mandarin, 1 Engineer Goby, 3 Pajama Cardinals, 1 Flame Angel, 1 Pygmy Angel, 1 Bellus Angel, 1 Gold Midas Blenny, 1 Niger Trigger, 1 Porcupine Puffer, 1 Cuban Hogfish, and 1 Magnificent Fox Face.

It is a great mixture of fish and they are beautiful. To do something like this but on a smaller scale, you will not a LOT of live rock as a filter.

I'm stocking from fresh. I also like ton of rock. I'm using 3 ai sol blue for lighting. Corals is a must! Love the look and action.

Thank you I'm going to look into these fish.

Yeah, I have 300lbs of live rock. I do have leathers and mushrooms in the tank as well. Looking to maybe add an anemone but worried it will eat some fish. I have 3 Ecoray LEDs on my tank. I tried some other corals but they did not work out. I am working to add some other leathers. Also have a few pistol shrimp and a long urchin. If you want to venture away from the leathers, then you will have to stay away from some of the angels and others I have in my tank.

I know butterflies are not good for corals. Not sure how a Niger Trigger and Puffer do with other corals.
