so getting ready to get my fish back in DT. I have a flame hawk that has been by himself. The other three have been together firefish yellow assessor and anthias. Can I put flame hawk in first and the others in a couple of weeks? Are these things harmful so a bunch of them.

Order does matter, yes. You generally want to add more timid and peaceful fish first so they have time to settle in and establish territories before adding more aggressive fish. In your case I would probably add the flame hawkfish last.

Order matters depending on the fish. In this case though, all the fish are pretty peaceful. I wouldn't worry about order.

Order really matters. Timid fish are best in first. They will orient themselves to the tank, learn the terrain and establishh themselves. A newly added fish is usually frightened, disoriented and lost. It is vulnerable to bullying and could easily perish. Timid fish will usually leave a new fish alone. An aggressive fish will be orient itself and can fend off a not so intense local. An established aggressive fish can easily murder a whole series of bewildered new fish especially if they are timid and will never be a match for the aggressive fish.

Ive read several posts where flame hawk harasses newcomers, so yeah, i would add him last. (They are posts where flame hawks being best citizen too,..but i wouldnt want to risk it)
