I've done so much reading and research my head is spinning. Still feeling pretty clueless, though. A very wise (I'm assuming) reefer once said, "The only dumb question is the one you don't ask." Since I hope to be a wise reefer myself one day, here it is... once the tank is cycled, what livestock do I add first? Or rather, in what order do I add livestock? Fish first, then cuc, then coral? I know this should be obvious, but for some reason this is making my brain smoke. When do I add each component to the ecosystem?

i went something like this...
1. a couple of fish + CUC the same day as the lights will be on now and the CUC will have something to eat.
2. a couple of weeks later more fish and repeat this until you're near your stocking list as it'll give the system a chance to biologically cope with the new bio mass being introduced.
3. after 3 months soft corals and hardier LPS
4. most LPS
5. 10 months-1 year: things are starting to stabilize and anemones should be able to cope with the water.
6. 18 months: SPS corals have a shot at survival
along the way don't hesitate to add CUC as you'll find the balance between not enough and just enough.
