Hi. My wife and I are planing on starting a pico tank next month and we are wondering... What fish can we keep in a 4 gallon tank?

Jester goby is pretty cool.. I have a 6 gallon with yellow clown goby and black ray goby and some sexy shrimp... With red algae taking out nutrients in the tank to add color as well but just some ideas.

I have a red ruby goby and a tiny yellow corris wrasse in my pico, the wrasse really help with picking off flat worms.

I tried a Rainfords in my 5 gallon at work...make sure it is eating prepared foods before you put it in a small tank or it will starve to death quickly. I have a Blue neon goby and a firefish. I am considering a gold/yellow neon goby also or maybe a pearly jawfish.

You could also do a barnacle Blenny or 2....
1 small or 2 tiny fish are easily sustainable in a pico...with weekly water changes...
Just feed 3 or 4 pellets once or twice a day...

I do a 5-10% water change twice a week, I have some culerpa, GSP, 3 or 4 head Hammerhead and a little Xenia as well as a couple of snails and a red leg hermit crab. currently running a 50/50 T8 bulb. I would really like to get a 2 bulbe fixture and run a 50/50 and a actinic or a purple bulb for color.

Thanks everyone for the replies. the tank is for our 11 year old girl and she loves firefish. Would these fish thrive in a 4 gallon tank?
