I am wanting the following fish in my 32 gallon tank that has a 10 gallon tank as a sump.

Exquisite firefish
Yasha goby/red banded pistol shrimp
Ruby Red Dragonet
Clownfish pair.

I will be adding these fish in this order. Is this a good stocking amount? Could I maybe add 1 more fish? I am going to be doing weekly 10% water changes and running a fuge and filter socks. Willing to get protein skimmer if I need one.

IMO, that is an appropriate stocking list. I believe you can add one more fish without overstocking. A skimmer will do wonders in the long run when managing waste.

I would get the dragonet last because they need a sufficient pod population if doesn’t eat frozen.

1 more fish is fine. I don't think you will need a skimmer but it will definitely help if you decide to get one.

Any suggestions on a fun fish that would fit into the current group?

A royal gramma, springers damsel, bicolor Benny, forktail blenny, possum wrasse, and pink streak wrasse are some of my favorites with good personality’s that would fit in your tank well, but you have a good amount of options.

Ok thanks! I'll check those out!

You can add more. I have a 32 gallon with 11 fish, 3 shrimp, a clam, a starfish, about 6 snails, a Sandy lightfoot crab, 5 or so tiny hermit crabs, a lot of zoas, anemone and other coral. It sounds like a lot but it isn't when they are actually in the tank. None of the fish are huge and they all have their own hiding spots. The tank has been running for almost 2 years.
