Hello, just started adding in fish to my 300g and was looking at the next grouping to add next. I just put in a big pair of ocellaris clowns, Moyeri wrasse, pink tail trigger and blue jaw trigger. All are doing well. I am planning on doing tangs (powder blue and brown, Achilles, yellow, and desjardini) followed by large and small angels (imperator, majestic, regal, and lemon peel and flame) followed by a yellow belly dogface puffer. Is this too many in your opinion? Any issues with adding them in that order or type matching? TIA!

Best bet with all the Zebrasoma tangs (yellow, sailfin, etc) as well as the Acanthrus (Powders and Achilles) is to add the conspecifics at the same time. Less chance of agression that way.

Yeah, I plan on introducing all of the tangs at the same time. Do you think the angels will be okay if I introduce them after the tangs? I think the puffer will be fine introducing him at the very end.

It's not a great idea to plan on introducing herbivores after tangs. It is generally best to have the tangs be the last addition, after more peaceful fishes.

Gotcha. So I’ll put the angels in first and then the tangs. Does the list look to heavy or do I have room for more? Thinking of more wrasses if anything.

Only experience will tell you your limit for stocking. Every tank is different, Filtration systems, maintenance regimes, and user expectations intimately effect how much bioload each tank can support.

I have more than you’re contemplating and my tank is smaller:

Niger Trigger
Blue Throat Trigger
Yellow Tang
Sailfin Tang
Lavender Tang
Yellow Eye Kole Tang
Naso Tang
Hippo Tang
Yellow Blotch Rabbitfish
Candy Cane Hog Fish
Midas Blenny
Yellow Watchman Gobies x2
Yasha Goby
Diamond Goby
Cleaner Wrasse
Blue Dot Toby Puffer
Ocelaris Clowns x3
Azure Damsels x4

and have zero issues with aggression or maintaining stable parameters... (yet!)
