Well I do 4 gallons per inch. But in a 38, you could do around 14 and 4 fish that grow big!!!How many fish and what kind could I put in a 38 gallon bow front?
I would say maybe 3-4 smaller fish, such as clowns or damsels

Flame or longnose hawk
Midas or stigmatura blenny
Grammistes or forktail blenny
Zebra or scissortail blenny.
