Hi,

A couple questions...

Had a pair of clowns and lost one to ich a couple months ago. How should I replace it? Can I add just 1 more more to make a pair or would adding a pair and have 3 be better option?

Would a Naso and/or Sailfin be ok for the 450?

Any stocking recommendations?

Adding another pair could end up in disaster for your current clown.. your best bet would be getting a clown that either significantly bigger/smaller than your current clown, so it's not much of a contest between who becomes the female and male in the pair.

Nasos and Sailfins both get to over a foot long in length, but you could keep them as juveniles until they got too big for your tank.

I'm not really one to tell people what they can and can't do with their tanks, at the end of the day you can do what you like with it :)

No, I appreciate the feedback and response.

I would add a much smaller clown to your set-up. If you add a bigger clown it is possible that they would both be females. If you add a small one it will most likely be undetermined aka a juvenile. I agree that those tangs get too large to live as adults in that size tank.
