Stocking

125 G tank has been set up for 5 months. Protein skimmer and chaetomorpha in the refugium has gotten nitrates down to 0 faster than I would have thought. Just added a GBTA. Was wondering if this level of stocking was okay or too many.

Powder Brown Tang - 1
Flame Angelfish - 1
Percula Clownfish - 2
Orchid Dottyback - 1
Royal Gramma Basslet - 1
Yellow Watchman Goby - 1
Lawnmower Blenny - 1
Midas Blenny - 1
Foxface Rabbitfish Lo - 1
Banggai Cardinal - 2
Blue Green Chromis - 5
Yellow Clown Goby - 1

This seems like a lot of fish, but most of them stay so small I thought it would be fine. I'd love to have some wrasses but I think this is about it.

Watch out for those Chromis.. They seem to pick each other off until there is only one..

Powder Brown Tang - 1 depending on the dimensions probably okay. add at the same time as the foxface
Flame Angelfish - 1 reef caution may nip corals
Percula Clownfish - 2 good
Orchid Dottyback - 1 either this or the gramma, but not both (take the gramma)
Royal Gramma Basslet - 1 either this or the dottyback, but not both (take the gramma)
Yellow Watchman Goby - 1 good, don’t forget a pistol shrimp!
Lawnmower Blenny - 1 probably fine, but may not like the midas
Midas Blenny - 1 probably fine, but may not like the lawnmower
Foxface Rabbitfish Lo - 1 fine, just make sure its close to the same size as the tang.
Banggai Cardinal - 2 good
Blue Green Chromis - 5 chromis have a bad habit of turning from #x in a shoal to 1 over time, I would just skip them.
Yellow Clown Goby - 1 fine, but may get lost in a larger tank.

Overall the list looks good! If it was me I would pick between the tang and the foxface as my “big” fish and have several other small/medium fish to compliment it. This list also lacks wrasses which are excellent additions to any tank. Somewhere in the neighborhood of 12 fish would be my cap, but your tank will let you know how many you can have.
