It's black and white and hitchhiked in on a frag I got from the LFS 75% off sale. My other stomatella is red and white. Is it something else?

Sorry to ask the same question of 1000 other people, but my black, and white guy looked like it had horns and, of course, MINE would be the hitchhiker that ate the whole tank, had I NOT asked!

Google stomatella snail and compare with the hundreds of photos there are of them.

I can safely say its a stomatella snail.

It is a slightly odd-looking stomatella, but it sure looks like a stomatella. Cute little thing- hope it's okay.

I generally inspect frags before dipping, then put them in a cup of water and aggressively squirt them with a pipette for a minute before adding the dip. Helps dislodge any sort of harmless critters for me to catch.

Oh, I did! I hate being the one to ask the dumb ones. They were all a version of red or tan. Thank goodness people hang out here, happy to answer the 1001st time, also.
