Hey there,
I want to coat some plexiglass rods with your grey stone fix cement-like stuff.

The goal is, after it sets, to superglue aragonite on it to make it look more natural, BUT I am worried it won't stick well enough to plexiglass.

Is there some thing I can do about this? A primer?

Is sandpapering the plexi rods enough?

Should I superglue some stone fix (or aragonite) str8 on the plexi and then apply the stone fix?

I might just be a bit worried for something, the entire rod is to be coated, and this stuff looks very hardy, .... I just do not want flakes to come off...

The final result will look something like this (a bit thinner on the branches):
