Sorry for the delay, been on travel. Yes, the calc reactor adds calcium, carbonate, stronium, magnisium and potasium. I will admit that I'm not good at testing my mag. I will try to test it today and give you a heads up on how it does. Keeps my calcium and carbonate perfect. Ususally when you have good calcium you will have good magnisium.

I just used a whole gallon of mag chloride and sulfate for the tank. I believe I use more mag than alk and calc combined. So I guess I will start dosing mag on a pump and timer. Kalk seems to be working, ph is always above 8 and my levels are at alk 8.5 calc 400. I may look into a kalk reactor to get that stuff out of my ato container.

I quick update.. The kalk seems to be working quite well. My alk has been running between 9-10 and the ph is always around 8.2 I dont know why I didnt use kalk to begin with.
