Stopped Using My Skimmer

So I stopped using my skimmer 1 month ago and my tank has never looked better. I
am using an algae reactor and the Clarisea. That is it for filtration. Why is my tank so good?

Sounds like the skimmer was stripping too much nutrients from the tank. Glad it’s doing well

I removed my skimmers a few weeks ago and don't plan on going back! Beats dosing nitrogen and phosphate daily

I think was my same issue in my 45gal AIO tank. I had a small skimmer and could never rid myself of algae. Hoping its the same issue (stripping out too much) I only feed once a day and feed corals maybe every 2-3 days.
