Stopping an encrusting war coral?

Any ideas on what I can do to slow this war coral from encrusting up. It won’t be long before it starts growing into other coral.

Get kalkwasser and make a paste using the powder and some water. Make a thick enough yet thin enough paste to be drawn up in a Turkey baster.

Lay down a line of kalk with all Water Flow OFF.... that line will kill anything under neath it down to rock

The kalk line will solidify into a semi hard substance if you keep all flow calm for 4hrs.

With the line, it should stay there for several days. Corals will retract from that line for several weeks
