Hi everyone,
A buddy of mine is selling his 180-gallon at a deal and I am considering buying it and storing it until I move to a new house (house is on the market). The 180 is fairly new, should I be concerned about it staying in storage for a year? Will the seals be more likely to fail? Should I wait until I get settled into a new house, then buy an upgraded tank?

As long as it isn't being stored in sub-freezing temperatures the seals should be fine. Make sure it is bone dry before putting it into storage and test everything for leaks when it is ready for use because, depending on the temps, the seals could expand or contract.
