Storing Kalkwasser Powder

What's the best way to store Kalkwasser powder? I bought the 2 pound tub from BRS, but the plastic container doesn't seem that air tight. Is it ok to use that as is long term? If not, I was thinking of putting that container in a big zip lock, or transferring the Kalkwasser powder to something like an OXO POP container or similar style air tight food storage container.

A ziplock over the container will deter CO2 to some extent and is likely adequate.

For years I used Mrs wages pickling lime and stored it in the original bags with no issues.
