Storing Mixed Water

I recently read (I believe here) that once you mix salt with RODI, it shouldn't be stored for too long as it breaks down and can be toxic.

How long can I store mixed water?

It depends on the salt mix. Some salt mixes like Instant Ocean don't contain any organics and can be store for long periods of time, provided the container is well-sealed and the water doesn't get contaminated.

Some other mixes contain organics that can degrade over time (Reef Crystals is one of the more popular examples). These mixes should be used shortly after mixing.
