Storing rodi water in garage

I was wondering if keeping my rodi water in my garage would be ok. I live in Ohio and the winter months can get pretty cold at times below 30 and can get up to 90 in the summer. Would the swing in temps be ok. I do have an attached garage if that helps any.

Well I keep around 360 litres of RODI stored in food grade plastic 30 litre tubs in my garage ready for water changes etc

Its not in direct sunlight and it’s perfectly ok so you should be fine

My tanks and water are kept in the garage. Now we don't get your kind of temps in the Bay Area but lately the mornings have been in the 30's

Ok thanks. Obviously I’d make sure the water temp was right before I used it for water changes etc. plus this way I won’t have to lug water up stairs lol

I store mine in the Basement in Montana. The biggest reason is to keep from freezing the water. The storage containers could split when the water freezes. If you keep your garage above freezing, I do not see an issue.

Ideally I’d keep it in my basement in the unfinished part where my hot water tank is. But I would have to tap into the pex lines and I’d rather not do that if I could avoid it. My luck it would spring a leak after some time

I just can off my PEX distribution bib and ran a dedicated PEX line. I put a valve on the end and then feed the 1/4 inch RO/DI unit.

I have no clue where that manifold is in my basement or if I even have one
