I’m looking to store about 15g of water. I don’t have a large enough space for a Rubbermaid Brute. And want to put s heater and pump in the container. I was looking at rv water containers but there’s not really a way to open the container. Looking for a food safe. I was reading if it has a certain recycling number 1,2,4 it was food safe, but not sure how reliable that is. Also I’m afraid of color of the container leeching. Any suggestions?

I got myself a 7 gallon water container from amazon. they are pretty slim so they can fit anywhere, maybe 2 of them will work for you?

Look for one made out of hdpe. Usually the seller says what it is designed for - look for potable water recommendation

They do make a 10 gallon brute you can find on Amazon. The heater plus pump suggests to me you’re going to use it for salt mixing…. So just think about ease of cleaning salt residue with whatever you buy too. Otherwise you could just have small/thin RO containers and mix in a brute that you normally keep out of the way somewhere.
