Storing saturated kalkwasser in hot garage

two months ago I started dosing 6500ml saturated kalk from 40' away in my garage. The 6500 ml is just slightly under my evaporation rate in 190gal of total water volume per day. I'm moving the kalk via Neptune DOS through the attic. I've since reduced 2 part dosing from 120ml per day to ~10ml and my corals have responded very well. Other than seeing some precipitation on the back wall of my reef, I'm very pleased with the results.



To my question....do I have to worry about high temps during the summer affecting the Kalk solution?

The reason I'm asking this during peak winter is because my attic line froze up and I had to move my 32gal sealed container inside. While considering a permanent solution to this, I am thinking of a smaller container to be kept closer to the reef. The problem is I have no room for it. Right now it's front and center and can't stay where I have it placed permanently. I would rather keep it where it was. When it gets very cold I will just move it back indoors.

PS- I mix 2tsp/gal for a few hours with a powerhead and seal the container up until it's time to make a new batch. Kalk is dosed every 16min, 24/7. 2part is dosed every 10min.

Higher temps will slightly reduce the amount that can dissolve at saturation, but the effect is not huge:

Only if you dissolved some when it was cold and it warmed up. But I usually added excess anyway.
