Storm clown not doing well

my storm clownfish over the past two days has been laying on his side on the sand bed breathing hard. Has been there all day today. Yesterday he ate some but hasn’t been acting right. He has a brown spot at his gills. All other fish seem fine. I’ve had him for about 2 months. Any idea what the problem could be.

Can you take a look at the sticky notes above for the file that lists hints and tips about posting fish problems (there is also a link to that file below my name here, but it doesn’t show on cell phones).
We need more background info here. That said, when a fish “goes down” like this, a cure is often not possible - just to forewarn you.
