Getting to the point of needing to figure out the lighting on our 210 set up. I was going to get these...

but my wife has seen those lights on TANKED that you can set to have like lighting and clouds that go over the tank... where or what would i need to look for to find those kind of lights?

I have NanoBox lighting on my tank so I have both functions. I like the clouds, but I have disabled storms because it tends to startle the fish.

The lighting and storm effects are only for your enjoyment, it will scare your fish senseless and has zero benefits to coral. Cloud cover may possibly be beneficial to corals depending on lighting intensity and scheduling.

I already know it has no benefit to the tank... that is just common sense.. however it is kind of cool to watch the lighting change in the tank even if you never used the lightening effect.

I have been watching videos and kind of have decided i think i am going with my first choice.. some of the programming with the clouds and lightning just seems like to much trouble for something that is going to freak the fish out....

AI primes have storms, I don’t think they have lights tho and if they do then I can’t find em! The lightning scared the crap outta me because I put it to have a 5% chance of happening at 4 pm last month and it just happened for the first time today! The fish weren’t bothered at all by them though.

I ended up going with these.. they do not have all the stuff the wife was wanting or the sunrise/sunset mood but they will do the job.

The 75 sump kit arrived yesterday from exotic marine with a panel missing, they are supposed to be sending it. Lights arrive today. Return pump is going to be here next week.. Soon all the stuff will be here and if not for having to build a new stand since the one i have is to short... not enough room between the tank and sump.. and it will be time to put it all together.. Now i also have a 90 to set back up that our kids got me for fathers day.. it was all up and running with a 20 gallon sump but i have to get new sand and bulkhead gaskets and i will have that one up and going before the end of the weekend...

The addiction is real...lol

Most lights have this feature. My Orpheks have them as does hydra and radions.
Tried the lighting and tangs and foxface went berserk crashing into rock and glass.
NEVER AGAIN for me

Can’t agree more! Whoever though of it was a great idea, of course they want to sell it as a gimmick but it scare the ish out of some fish and doesn’t do any good at all!
